Delivery Information

Most products on our website include free delivery to most addresses in
Mainland United Kingdom. Any orders under the value of £100 will incur
a £15 delivery fee. If any addresses attract an additional charge such as
Highland areas you will be notified before the order is processed and
dispatched.
Our aim is that you will receive your order in excellent condition. To
avoid the risk of damages most of our deliveries are processed and
carried out directly through the manufacturers delivery team using their
own drivers.
Estimated delivery dates will be shown on our website and this will be as
accurate as possible. Fireside Direct cannot be held liable for any delays
in the manufacture, delivery or any inconvenience that this may cause.
All goods should be inspected fully on the day of delivery. If any faults are
found the customer should contact Fireside Direct on the same day,
preferably whilst the delivery team are on site and we will deal with any
issues as a matter of priority. Photographs of the damage may be requested.
For reasons of security and to protect from fraudulent transactions
delivery will only be made to the address registered on the credit or
debit card.
Standard deliveries
Some smaller items such as gas and electric inset fires will be delivered
by the manufacturers chosen courier service. You would usually be
contacted by text message to advise on a delivery date and a one hour
time slot will be sent on the day of delivery. Where a one hour time slot
is not given this will be an all day service.
All deliveries of smaller items will be a ground floor doorstep service.
Please consider this before placing the order. All items must be checked
within 24 hours and any damages reported to us within this timeframe.
Larger deliveries by pallet
Large or heavy items will be sent by the manufacturers chosen
palletised delivery service. This would usually be an all day service
unless you receive further information from the delivery team. The
service will be a ground floor doorstep or kerb side delivery and the
drivers are not insured to enter your property. The drivers will be unable
to move goods across very narrow or gravelled path ways. The drivers
can wheel the delivery in to a garage with flat open access. As the
delivery may contain heavy or large goods please ensure you have
someone available to help you. All goods must be checked in front of the
driver before signing for the delivery. The driver should give you up to 10
minutes to unpack the delivery, if they refuse to wait please sign the
delivery note as damaged which will then protect you if any faults are
found. If any damage has occurred during transit please inform us
immediately.
Access for deliveries
Most deliveries will be made on a 10 tonne lorry which will require full
access for delivering your goods. Please make us aware of any access
retractions before placing an order so that we can advise accordingly.
Failed deliveries and additional costs
Fireside Direct will not be liable for any additional costs incurred due to
failed deliveries. Any re-delivery charges would be at additional cost to
the customer.
We will not be held liable for any delays in delivery or loss of earnings
due to failed or delayed deliveries. Likewise we will not be held liable for
any incurred costs from your installer if a delivery is delayed or goods
arrive damaged.
We strongly advise not to book an installer before receiving and
inspecting all goods.
